Only once we have identified the best supplier for the respective product do we focus on the raw material itself. Even before it is finally called off under the pre-agreed contracts, it is inspected. For this purpose, we receive corresponding samples from the suppliers, which are examined thoroughly. Does the sensory profile meet expectations – in other words, the appearance and taste? Are the initial laboratory values flawless? Are there any foreign particles in the sample? At this stage, many questions are asked and answered.
