Our Laboratory


LaborWe use the latest analysis methods in our in-house laboratory and our own stringent requirements to examine the quality of our raw products, both during and directly following the harvest. An independent, accredited laboratory carries out the analytical tests regularly.


Our laboratory routinely carries out the following analytic tests.

  • Sensory analysis (taste, smell, etc.)
  • Colour (honey colour analyser, mm pound scale)
  • Water content
  • HMF value
  • Enzymes (diastase, saccarose)
  • Electrical conductivity
  • pH value
  • CHARM test residue (tetracycline, streptomycin, sulphonamide, chloramphenicol)
  • Residues using the ELISA test from biophar® (Nitrofurane, Chloramphenicol)
